Westfield Preservation Alliance

The following three houses are endangered. The Union Street Flats, a luxury apartment complex is going to be built here. It will encompass several acres behind the 3 houses. WPA is currently working with JC Hart, the developer of the luxury apartments and Beau Wilfong, current owner of the properties. We have the opportunity to possibly move the houses to another location if land can be found. We are looking to raise money and/or find someone who needs a house. Our goal is to save 1 out of the 3 houses. We have hopes of being able to do this. Of course our preference is to leave the houses where they are. When you remove a historical house from its spot it is like starting history over in a new location. It also leaves a hole where the house once stood. It hurts the entire historic neighborhood. All the houses together create the fabric for an area.
